4 /lombardparks DEAR RESIDENTS, As another great summer wraps up and the temperature begins to drop, the Lombard Park District prepares for an action-packed autumn season. Fall Fest and the annual Turkey Shoot are just some of the special events to look forward to this season. Please visit the special events section on page 7 for more offerings and further details. The District recently celebrated the grand opening of the Madison Meadow Athletic Center on June 30. The new facility offers many recreation opportunities for the community. Amenities include: a fitness center, cardio equipment with TVs, a selectorized weight circuit, free weights, an indoor track, group fitness classes, two full-sized basketball courts, open gym, babysitting services for members and more. Annual memberships are offered to residents and non-residents, with different membership packages for individual adults, couples, families, youth, and seniors. Memberships are offered at special opening rates now through July 31, so be sure not to miss out on the best deals. For information about group fitness classes, membership prices, hours and more please visit page 51. Paradise Bay Water Park is wrapping up another great summer in the community. The season ends on September 3 so be sure to stop by! As a thank you to all of our loyal customers, everyone is invited to join us on August 7 for Paradise Bay Customer Appreciation Day. There's no better time to visit Western Acres Golf Course! The course is open daily through October from sunrise to sunset. Don't have time for nine? Western Acres is now offering the option to play the first six holes for just $12. For more information about events, pricing, and more please visit page 13.
