Lombard Town Centre 5:00-7:00 pm: Dancers performing live Nutcracker scenes in downtown business displays Lombard Park District/Village of Lombard 5:30-8:00 pm: Tree Lighting and Santa's Arrival in Lilacia Park, photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot cocoa, & cookies Lombard Historical Society 6:00-8:00 pm: Candlelight Tours at the Victorian Co‡age Lombard Bible Church (111 S Park Ave) 6:00 pm, 6:45 pm, and 7:30 pm: Glenbard East Honors Strings performing three short concerts in the sanctuary; cra"s, co"ee, and hot cocoa in the gym Helen Plum Library 6:10 pm, 6:50 pm, and 7:30pm: Glenbard East Madrigal Singers show, activities in youth services starting at 5:00 pm, refreshments available in adult services, library open for checking out materials Maple Street Chapel 6:30-8:00 pm: Sing-along Holiday Lights in acia ark Join Lombard Park District's annual lighting celebration in Lilacia Park! Charming holiday displays light up Lilacia Park with a magical array of animated light shows, decorated trees, a giant gingerbread house, and much more. Youngsters can visit with Santa Claus, ride the delightful Gold Medal Express train, visit with their favorite holiday characters, and enjoy a spectacular show with complimentary hot cocoa and cookies. Saturday, December 1 at 5:30 pm Lilacia Park Lighting Ceremony/JingleBell Jubilee. Sunday, December 2 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Free visits with Santa and train rides. Friday, December 7 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Free visits with Santa and train rides. Complete a Victorian craft in Mrs. Claus' Cupboard brought to you by the Lombard Historical Society. Saturday, December 8 at 6:00 - 8:00 pm Free visits with Santa, Rudolph, and train rides. All participants will receive their very own red nose when they visit Rudolph! Sunday, December 9 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Free visits with Santa and train rides. Friday, December 14 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Free visits with Santa and train rides. Complete a Victorian craft in Mrs. Claus' Cupboard brought to you by the Lombard Historical Society. Saturday, December 15 at 6:00 - 8:00 pm Free visits with Santa, Mrs. Claus and train rides. Sunday, December 16 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Free visits with Santa and train rides. Friday, December 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Free visits with Santa and train rides. Saturday, December 22 at 6:00 - 8:00 pm Polar Express Night in Lilacia Park. Every participant will receive their very own bell. Sunday, December 23 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Free visits with Santa and train rides. Volunteers Needed! The Lombard Park District is looking for volunteer groups to decorate trees in Lilacia Park.
