DOWNERS GROVE PARK DISTRICT {GYMNASTICS PROGRAM}
The Lombard Park District is excited to partner with the Downers Grove Park District to offer a series of gymnastics classes. For all registration questions, please contact
the Lombard Park District at (630) 620-7322, but for any specific questions about the content of the class, please contact the Downers Grove Park District at (630)
960-7250. Please note we may only take registration for Lombard Park District Residents. All non-residents must register through the Downers Grove Park District
and are subject to a higher class fee. Children must be the age specified within one week after the start date of class or have instructor approval. No makeup classes are
offered due to absences. All parents must watch from the designated viewing area.
LOCATIONS:
Downers Grove Recreation Center (DGRC): 4500 Belmont Rd, Downers Grove & Downers Grove North High School (DGNHS): 4436 Main St, Downers Grove
{Gymnastics Facility is located in South building. Enter from the Prince St. Courtyard. Parking available in Saratoga Avenue lot.}
DGPD registration policies: Any registrant who withdraws from the program before it begins is subject to a 10% charge of the class fee. All cancellation requests must
be made no fewer than three business days prior to the first class. No refunds will be given after the class has started.
TUMBLERS • {BOYS & GIRLS}
(Ages 4-6)
This class is designed for children who are interested in learning tumbling skills
only. The focus is on forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and
round-offs.

SWINGERS • {BOYS & GIRLS}
(Ages 5-9)
This class is for boys and girls with little or no gymnastics experience. Participants
learn forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, roundoffs and basic
maneuvers on equipment.

GLIDERS • {GIRLS}
(Ages 6-13)
Designed for girls with previous gymnastics experience who can execute cartwheels and handstands. Gymnasts focus on one-handed cartwheels, round-offs
and bridges and begin working on limbers and walkovers. Training on gymnastics
apparatus is also included.

Gliders I: 6-9 years
Gliders II: 10-13 years

VAULTERS • {BOYS}
(Ages 5-13)
If you have a boy interested in gymnastics, then Vaulters is the class for you!
Vaulters I: For boys ages 5-9 years with little or no gymnastics experience.
Learn forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, round-offs and basic
maneuvers on equipment.
Vaulters II: For boys ages 6-13 years with previous gymnastics experience and
who can execute competent cartwheels, round-offs and handstands. Work on
front and back handsprings and continue developing skills on equipment.
