VOLLEYBALL SKILLS & DRILLS
(Grades 3-8)
Improve your volleyball skills in setting, passing, overhand serving and spiking. The
program includes an evaluation of each student, as well as a youth volleyball rating.
Organized games will be held at the end of each class.

GIRLS SOFTBALL
(Ages 5-18)
Lombard Park District offers an extensive youth softball program including
instruction for all ages and skill levels. The primary goal is to create an opportunity
for fundamental skills development in a positive, supportive, friendly, safe and most
importantly, fun environment for every player in each league. The level is decided
by current grade level. Coaches will determine all practice times. The Park District
reserves the right to combine age levels if necessary.

Girls interested in sharpening their softball skills can join the Lombard Park District
on Sunday mornings for these skills clinics. Learn proper techniques, drills, and
skills needed to play softball. Bring your softball glove, comfortable clothes and a
positive attitude. Girls signing up for pitching clinics are recommended to sign up
for multiple sessions and must supply a catcher.

TENNIS LESSONS
(Ages 4-12)
Grab your rackets and get active with our Instructional Tennis Lessons program!
Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructors will teach your child tennis basics,
and help the more experienced player further their tennis skills. Players must supply
their own rackets. Rackets are available for purchase for $18 at SKRC. Tennis
balls are supplied. Classes may be adjusted, cancelled, or combined. Instructors
may move participants to a different level if necessary. Classes cancelled due to
weather will be made up on Mondays or Fridays. In case of inclement weather,
please call the Sports Hotline (630) 415-3479 after 4:00 pm.

Set up one-on-one or two-on-one tennis lessons with one of our tennis instructors
to help you improve your game faster with more individualized attention. Upon
registering (minimum of 3 one-hour sessions), you will be contacted by an
instructor to set up your lessons times. Please ask for a Private Lesson Request
Form at SKRC to help expedite this process. Private Lessons must be pre-paid at
least 5 days prior to scheduling a lesson.
Private Lessons (One-on-One): $30 per hour
Pair Lessons (Two-on-One): $40/pair per hour
