LET 'S BUILD IT - ROBOTICS
MIGHTY MACHINES!
(Ages 6-11)
Enter into the fascinating world of robotics. In this exciting STEAM program,
students will design, build and test their very own robots under the guidance
of an experienced AES instructor. Projects include remote control cars, claws,
cranes, crawlers and battle bots. Educational components include gear ratios,
mechanical design, electronics and robotics engineering. No previous experience
is necessary, just a desire to have fun, build and learn. Each student will receive
an award on the last day of the session and have an opportunity to earn Energy
Belts to demonstrate their learned skills!

LIGHTS, CAMERA , ACTION!
HARRY POTTER MOVIE
(Ages 8-12)
Create your own adventure for Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione! You will
create your own Harry Potter™ movie using special movie making cameras and
software. As directors and producers you will work in teams to create your
own story and script, use LEGO™ Harry Potter mini figures as characters, draw
your own backgrounds and film your own movie. You will use graphic editing
techniques and stop motion animation, add background noise and music, and
show your movie at a private screening on the last day of class. All students will
get a copy of their movie after class is complete. Please note: there will be no
refunds issued after the first class.

CREATE A BOOK WORKSHOP
(Ages 8-12)
Students will create their own unique and personalized holiday gift for a
grandparent, aunt, uncle or other loved one. Using special editing software and
digital cameras, students will create a personalized book for a loved one in this
fun and creative class. Students will work on their projects for the first three
classes and will get their book at the fourth class, just in time for the holidays. On
the fourth day, they will wrap and decorate their gift and will also work on a video
greeting to be sent to family members for the holidays. Your family member will
be so excited to receive such special gift from your child! Refund requests must

ROBOTICS ADVENTURES
(Ages 6-8)
Yes, we can learn about robotics! With the LEGO™ WeDo Robotics System,
young children can build and program their own robotic creations. Designed by
the experts at MIT, this unique system teaches children about simple machines,
engineering, programming and so much more. Young imaginations soar!
Students will work together in teams of two. Please note: refund requests must

REMOTE CONTROL MANIA
(Ages 5-10)
Making it move is the name of the game in this exciting program! Kids will love
to see their creations in motion using LEGO™ motors, battery packs and wireless
remote controls. We will use fascinating and challenging LEGO™ components to
create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and much more. As they enjoy
the fun of building, students will understand the basic working principles of
many ingenious devices that are part of our everyday lives. This program is loads
of fun and learning for budding builders. Please note: refund requests must be
