LEGO™ STEM WORKSHOP -
JURASSIC BRICK LAND
(Ages 6-10)
Put on your hiking boots and camouflage - you're about to enter Jurassic Brick
Land! Students will build a world that comes to life with gentle Brontosaurus,
ferocious Velociraptor, terrifying Tyrannosaurus rex and more. Students will learn
facts about dinosaurs and other extinct animals that roamed the earth many
years ago. Our proprietary kits and model plans incorporate gears, axles, motors,
battery packs and other technic LEGO™ components. Our specialized project
kits and model plans are sure to challenge all grades and skill levels. Please note:
refund requests must be made five business days prior to start of class.

LEGO™ STEM WORKSHOP - WORLD
OF AMUSEMENT & LAW OF MOTION
(Ages 5-10)
Delve into the history and mechanics of your favorite amusement park rides in
this imaginative unit. Students will use our proprietary LEGO™ technic kits to
construct a ferris wheel, carousel swing, swing boat ride, and a merry-go-round.
Our one-of-a-kind kits incorporate beams, axles, gears, motors and battery
packs to make our creations come to life! Lessons incorporate principles of
physics, described in a way children can understand through math concepts such
as G-force, inertia and momentum. These engaging lessons will give students an
understanding of the physical forces they experience every day. Please note:

Join the Lombard Park District on days when school isn't in session! Participants
will enjoy games, crafts and activities with friends. Each School Day Off will
feature an off-site or on-site field trip. Participants in our Club Rec Before & After
School will receive a discount on this program. Please note: registration must be
completed three business days prior to the start of the program. Late registration
will be accepted if space is available and will be subject to a $10 late fee.

BABYSITTING TRAINING CLINIC
(Ages 11+)
Learn about all the responsibilities of being a good babysitter and what to expect
from the person who hires you. Training will be provided in safety, safe play, basic
care, first aid, leadership and professionalism. Class includes a digital copy of the
handbook, review materials, certification card and a first aid kit. Please pack a
lunch and snacks for this course!

Learning Spanish is as easy as uno, dos, tres! In Amigos Spanish Club students
will learn numbers, colors, shapes, greetings, days of the week and so much more.
We will sing, clap and count our way towards learning the Spanish language. Each
child will receive an award for their participation.

The Music Path Company, this amazing program teaches young students the
beginnings of music. Using specialized, proprietary MusicStart keyboards,
students learn to play familiar melodies in a group setting by color, letter, note-
matching and problem solving. Students will begin to feel comfortable trying out
any new instrument with the musical foundations established in this class!
