This aerobic/ fitness interval training combines fast and slow rhythms with dance inspired exercises to tone and sculpt your body, top to bottom. Zumba is based on the principle that a workout should be fun and easy to do. You don't have to know how to dance to Zumba. It's a "Feel Happy" workout! You will improve your overall fitness; strengthen your cardiovascular system, tone your legs and arms, firm your core with Pilates, gain flexibility with yoga, and improve your balance. Instructor will use a variety of cardio formats to keep you challenged. Please bring a yoga mat. This class is designed for all fitness levels and will keep your body blasting calories hours past your workout. This class will challenge you both aerobically and anaerobically by doing short segments of cardiovascular training with kickboxing, followed by short segments of multi-muscle toning. Participants need to bring a mat. If so, then your muscles are getting weaker every day. Having a strong core is important in everything that we do. Learn how to gain strength in your abdominal muscles, without doing a bunch of crunches, with PilatesMat. This class will be split between core work and body sculpting with the use of body bars, dumbbells, tubes and bands, and stability ball. Please bring your own stability ball on the third week of class. While sweating those calories away we'll tone and tighten arms and legs. The key to staying true to our fitness goals is to have fun. All classes require a yoga mat and light weights are recommended.
