Energy, patience, and a cooperative attitude is crucial since you will be a part of enriching the lives of every child who attends summer camp! Interested CIT candidates must complete the CIT application found at www.lombardparks.com two weeks prior to the start of the session. Staff will contact applicants to set up an interview prior to registration. CITs will be evaluated throughout this program and are expected to maintain a level of competence, communication, and cooperation. Note: Day Camp CITs attend and assist with field trips, pool days, and walking trips. Must fill out application and complete interview process before registration. The first full week of camp will be held at the Lombard Community Building. Sign your camper up for one class or eight classes! Swim lessons are taught by a certified instructor and are strongly recommended if your camper has swimming limitations. After swim lessons are over, a counselor will pick up your camper and bring them to the Day Camp. Registration deadline for swim lessons is the Saturday before the class.
