Lilac Time, the communitywide event, will be held April 30 through May 15. From coronation to concerts and tastings to tours, Lilac Time is a historical event with something for everyone. The Lilac Time schedule of events is located in the center of the brochure or available on lombardlilactime.org. The Spring Activity Guide is packed with programs for everyone. The Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Lombard Lions Club, is a favorite event being held on Saturday, March 19. Times vary by age; see page 6 for details. Mr. Bunny will be visiting while children collect eggs full of candy and prizes. Stay for lunch with Mr. Bunny afterwards, but please pre-register at lombardparks.com. Western Acres Golf Course, home to a nine-hole course and 18-hole FootGolf course, is kicking off the season with Swing into Spring on Sunday, April 10 from 1:00–4:00 pm. The course will be open with $10 greens fees (weather permitting). FootGolf, a combination of the popular sports golf and soccer, is a great family game that can be played during the last tee time of the day. Western Acres is the perfect backdrop for your company outing; play golf or FootGolf! Book a tee time at westernacres.com and play 9! For more details, visit page 9. Adventure awaits under the palm trees at Paradise Bay Water Park! The state-of-the-art water park is home to a zero-depth entry leisure pool, four water slides, water walk, lap pool, two diving boards, and a concession stand. The littlest paradise seekers can enjoy fun in the sun in Turtle Cove with its fountains, island and water slide just their size. A variety of special events and programs are held throughout the summer. Visit lombardparks.com for a full list of summer happenings at the pool.
