The Lombard Park District Board of Park Commissioners and Staff are excited for the upcoming summer season including Lilac Time, held April 29 through May 15. There is still time to register for special events like Beer Tasting, Wine Tasting, Mutt Strut 5K and Pancake Breakfast. The dogs are back for the Lilac Mutt Strut 5k this year! Adventure awaits under the palm trees at Paradise Bay Water Park! Residents can purchase pool passes at the early bird rate until May 14. A variety of special events and programs are held throughout the summer, mostly during Family Nights on Tuesdays. Western Acres Golf Course, home to a nine-hole course and 18-hole FootGolf course is the perfect backdrop for an afternoon away from the office, a weekend with family, or league play. FootGolf, a combination of the popular sports golf and soccer, is a great family game that can be played during the last tee time of the day. Concerts and Movies in Lilacia Park is a summer favorite. Listen to live music or watch a movie in the showcase park under the stars! It's a perfect event for family and friends to gather together. Lastly, Community Play Day and Touch-A-Truck have been combined so save the date for this family friendly event held on September 10. It will be bigger and better for all ages!
