YOUTH DRAWING
(Ages 7-12)
The students in this class will study line, shape, contour, gestures, perspective,
composition, and use different types of drawing materials. There will be an
emphasis on individual exploration, discovering and developing uniqueness of
interpretation and expression.

SENIOR WATERCOLOR PAINTING
(Ages 55 +)
Learn to work with a variety of watercolor materials and techniques including
pencils, watercolor cakes and tubes, and an assortment of paper. We will
explore different techniques (i.e. wet on wet vs. wet on dry and use of salt). All
student levels are welcomed and students are encouraged to come to class with
proposed projects and questions. Basic supplies are included.

ADULT DRAWING
(Ages 16 +)
Students will be drawing with both pencils and charcoal. This class will focus
on technique, lighting, shading, composition, perspective, and proportion. The
subject will change each week, ranging from still life, portraits, building interiors,
landscapes, as well as some free time each class to draw whatever you like.
Students will need a sketch book and a set of pencils with different hardness
grades. All other materials will be provided.

ADULT POTTERY HAND BUILDING
(Ages 21 +)
In this introductory class we will learn how to use clay, tools, glaze, and basic skills,
techniques, and principles involved in pottery with emphasis on hand building.
The last class of each session is designated for students to pick up their pieces.
