/lombardparks CHAIR YOGA (Ages 18 +) Do you often feel weak and tired? Do you experience low energy and physical limitations? There is no age limit for reaping the benefits of yoga. We will be doing yoga seated and standing poses next to a chair to address movement and balance limitations. This class will focus on improving your range of motion, strength, and flexibility, concentration and coordination, balance, posture, alignment, and breathing. Participants will be responsible for bringing their own yoga sticky mat, yoga straps and yoga blocks. Instructor is certified in 200 hours of Hatha Yoga. Instructor is ACE Certified. Prenatal yoga emphasizes gentle stretching and strengthening poses to nurture the pregnant body. Connect with your baby and prepare yourself for a healthy pregnancy. This is it! Senior Exercise is moderately paced with aerobic routines set to music and geared toward active adults. Senior Strength Training focuses on maintaining muscle tone and developing strength by working out to music with light weights, bands, etc. Both classes are a full body workout taught by an instructor with extensive senior fitness teaching experience. Participants purchase a punch card, good for either class and used only when classes are attended. You may join at any time. Consult your physician before registering. Learn a variety of poses to do when waking, for playtime, before bedtime and as a midday pick-me-up. Parent and child can share a mat, and more than one child can register with a parent.
