4 /lombardparks Welcome DEAR RESIDENTS, Lilac Time is finally back! This annual event brings our community together to appreciate the season in Lilacia Park and is held for three weeks starting May 4 and ending on May 20. Park District events include the Little Lady Lilac Ball, a concert following the Lilac Queen coronation, a Mother's Day concert, Kid's Day activities, Country Store, plant sales, and much more! The schedule of events is located in the center of the activity guide and posted online at lombardlilactime.com. We welcome you this season with uplifting family special events and programs. The Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Lombard Lions Club and MedExpress will be held on March 24 at Lombard Common with a separate registration for the Lunch with the Bunny. Take Time for Tots Day, sponsored by MedExpress, includes a morning of free arts & crafts, safety information, storytelling, pony rides, bounce houses, balloon animals, and much more on April 7 at Sunset Knoll Recreation Center. Adventure awaits at Paradise Bay Water Park! Opening on May 26, this state-of-the-art water park is home to a zero-depth entry leisure pool, four water slides, water walk, lap pool, two diving boards, and a concession stand. The littlest paradise seekers can enjoy fun in the sun in Turtle Cove with its fountains, island, and water slide just their size. Residents can purchase their passes at the early bird rate until May 14. For more information visit page 12 for important pool details. The Madison Meadow Athletic Center is well underway in its construction and staffing. The Lombard Park District invites you to check out the special opening rates for the center on page 3.
