These girls and boys leagues may be combined into a co-rec league if participation is low. AFTER REGISTERING: • Fill out Youth Sports Information Form – Requests for teams, players, or coaches will not be guaranteed. • Purchase a game jersey for $18 at SKRC (Pre-K league participants do NOT need to purchase a jersey. League Shirts will be provided prior to the first game for the Pre-K league.) REQUIRED GEAR: • LPD jersey/shirt (games only); shin guards, water bottle IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER: 08/06: Final registration deadline. All registrants after this date are waitlisted, and not guaranteed a spot in the program. 08/20: Coaches will contact players by this date. Please call (630) 620-7322 if you have not been contacted by your coach. 09/01: Games start. (Grades 5+ may start on 08/25). 09/17: Final date to withdraw and receive a pro-rated refund. No refunds after this date. Please consult the team formation guidelines. Requests for teams, players, or coaches will not be guaranteed. FALL SOCCER LEAGUES (Age 4-Grade 9) Give your child the opportunity to experience the world's most popular sport! Participants will learn and improve their soccer skills and share in the fun and camaraderie at the heart of youth sports in this program. Teams typically practice once per week (weather permitting) on a day, time, and location determined by your coach. Teams will hold at least one practice before their first game of the season. Games are approximately one hour on Saturdays. If rainouts occur, games will be rescheduled for an additional Saturday at the end of the season or on weekday evenings. Child must turn 4 by the first week of practice to compete in Pre-K league. Boys and girls grades 5-6 may be combined and formed into co-rec teams if not enough players are registered. Grades 5+ will combine with Glen Ellyn Park District and play some games at Ackerman Park in Glen Ellyn.
