Youth athletics
YOUTH TENNIS LESSONS
(Ages 4-14)
Our instructors will teach your child tennis basics, and help the more experienced
player further their skills. Players must supply their own rackets. Tennis balls are
supplied. Classes may be adjusted, cancelled, or combined. Instructors will
evaluate players' skills every session and may move participants to a different
level if necessary. Make-ups for rainouts will occur based on instructor availability.
Pee Wee (Ages 4-5): Children will be introduced to tennis with suitable equipment.
Beginner (Ages 6-8): This class emphasizes ball control and basic strokes,
regardless of previous experience.
Beginner Tennis & Games (Ages 6-8): A more advanced class emphasizing
gameplay and minigames. Must be able to play half court matches independently.
Advanced Beginner (Ages 9-12): Children review basic skills and focus on
footwork and the overhead serve.
Junior Achiever Tennis Team (Ages 9-14): Focus on gameplay, must be able to
serve over-head and serve in-bounds.

LITTLE KICKERS SOCCER
(Age 3)
This class will focus primarily on age-appropriate games to help acclimate your
young one to soccer and teach them the basics. Many of the activities will involve
both the child and parent. All participants will receive a t-shirt. A parent must be
present for this activity. Required items: comfortable clothes, water bottle and
parent. Activity involves both the child and parent.

FENCING
(Ages 8+)
This class will offer students the basic understanding of attack and defense.
Students will learn different moves and combinations that will help them develop
their skill. Fencing is great exercise for all ages. All equipment is provided.

FLAG FOOTBALL
(Ages 6-7)
Time to kick off the football season! This co-recreational program gives your
child an excellent opportunity to learn the basic skills of football including
throwing, catching and blocking in a safe environment. Participants will learn
the basics and play scrimmage games on Saturday afternoons. Each participant
will be given a team T-shirt. Ages will be combined if minimums are not met.
Volunteer coaches are encouraged to apply ASAP to assist staff.
