YOGA FOR YOUNG ATHLETES
Gain strength, flexibility and core strength all while preventing injury in this class
designed for young athletes.
SUNSET YOGA
(Ages 15+) This restorative yoga class focuses on releasing deeply held tensions
from both the mind and body to reset the central nervous system. Props are
used to support postures for longer periods of time, while gently stretching and
strengthening the body and calming the mind.
GENTLE A .M. YOGA
(Ages 18+) Develop fundamental postures, breath control, and relaxation. This
class is structured for those new to yoga or revisiting yoga after many years.
CHAIR YOGA
(Ages 15+) Improve your range of motion, strength, and flexibility in this chair-
based class. Some balance and posture work will be done, as well.
PRENATAL YOGA
(Ages 15+) Prepare yourself both mentally and physically for the changes
pregnancy brings. Prenatal yoga emphasizes gentle stretching and strengthening
poses to nurture the pregnant body.
ZEN
(Ages 15+) Gently stretch your muscles while working on core strength and
balance. Class will work on breathing techniques and end with relaxation.
SPECIALTY
TAI CHI CHUAN AT SKRC
(Ages 13+)
Through practice, your mind can achieve a stillness and clarity rarely experienced
with other forms of exercise, integrating your body, mind, and spirit and helping
you to achieve inner peace. Practice strengthens the immune system, reduces
blood pressure and stress, and releases tension allowing a feeling of positive
energy to flow through your body.

POP-UP CLASSES (1 DAY CLASS )
POUND
(Ages 15+)
The POUND workout fuses cardio interval training with drumming to provide
a challenging, heart-pumping, full-body workout. The class will run with 30
minutes of POUND and 30 minutes of core work.
