LET'S BUILD IT - SPRING BREAK CAMP (Ages 6-11) This camp takes a hands-on approach to engineering, allowing students to directly engage with basic engineering concepts through a variety of fun and educational activities. Students will improve their problem solving, math, and physics skills- all while engaging in exciting building projects. Each unit will focus on a specific area of engineering. The unit will culminate in a testing of student's final projects and each student will receive an award for their progress during the unit. Please bring your own snacks. Come dressed in your favorite pajamas and be ready to learn how to pamper yourself. Our staff will lead a pedicure and manicure session with soaking, scrubbing, buffing, lotions, and great polish application! Decorate a cute canvas accessory bag to hold all the fun goodies you'll take home. Design a beaded dangle to add a little bling to anything! Our staff will give a mini make-over with a unicorn headband, hair sparkle and nail polish application. Each couple will decorate a wooden photo frame with a wooden unicorn shape and unicorn embellishments and jewels. Each couple will design a beautiful beaded bracelet adorned with a unicorn charm. This date is sure to be full of fantasy and fun! Price is per parent/child. Additional children are $35 each. On-line portion of class must be completed before class and is a two year certification. Course fee includes on-line access to digital version of manual and refresher course. Training will be provided in safety, safe play, basic care, first aid, leadership, and professionalism. Course includes a digital copy of the handbook, review materials, certification card, and a first aid kit.
