The Lombard Park District presents its 14th annual 5K race in conjunction with Lilac Time. Participate with or
without your dog in either event! Preregister by 05/17, 7:30 pm or register on-site beginning at 6:30 am the day
of the race. T-shirt and a pancake breakfast ticket included! Race starts on Parkside Avenue in front of the Park
District administration building 227 W. Parkside Ave. Pre-registration by 05/01 guarantees a t-shirt.

Come join the Lombard Park District and Famous Liquors of Lombard to sample wine in Lilacia Park.
NEW this year is a separate educational component of the tasting. From 6:30-8:00 pm, participants will
sample up to six different wines from a selection of vendors. Participants will enjoy a complimentary wine
of their choice, supply depending, and will receive a raffle ticket for fun prizes. Talk, mingle, and enjoy your
time with friends and ask the vendors questions. Then at 8:00 pm an educational component will begin
where vendors will select an additional wine or two to be sampled with discussing more in depth on the
style and history of the wine. VIP ticket holders will get additional raffle tickets for VIP prizes. Tickets for
this event must be purchased in person at Sunset Knoll Recreation Center prior to the event. Registrants
may purchase up to 10 tickets (1 table). Attend whenever you like for the social component. The VIP
educational component will start promptly at 8:00 pm. *Social is included with VIP Ticket

Bring your coffee and picnic basket to Four Seasons and enjoy a full morning of
fishing. Trophies will be awarded for Biggest, Smallest, and Most Caught in both
youth and adult age groups. All state codes will apply. Since this event occurs
during the Illinois Free Fishing Day, it is legal to fish without a license at this event.
Please bring a fishing pole and a bucket for a live well; bait will be provided. One
fishing pole is allowed per participant. Check-in begins at 8:30 am and the event
begins promptly at 9:00 am. Program will conclude at 11:00 am and be followed by
an awards presentation. The event will take place rain or shine! Pre-registration is
required; registration deadline is 06/12.
