NEW this year is a separate educational component of the tasting. From 6:30-8:00 pm, participants will sample up to six different beers from a selection of vendors. Participants will enjoy a complimentary beer of their choice, supply depending, and will receive a raffle ticket for some fun prizes. Talk, mingle, and ask the vendors questions. Then at 8:00 pm an educational component will begin where vendors will select an additional beer or two to be sampled while discussing more in depth the style and history of the beer. VIP ticket holders will get additional raffle tickets for VIP prizes only available to them. Tickets for this event must be purchased in person at Sunset Knoll Recreation Center prior to the event. Registrants may purchase up to 10 tickets (1 table). Attend whenever you like for the social component. Race starts in front of the Park District administration building 227, W. Parkside Ave. Pre-registration by 05/01 guarantees a t-shirt.
