14 /lombardparks PARENT & TOT ADVENTURES (Ages 6-36 mos. & parent) Explore the water with your infant or toddler. This class, with an adult in-water, is designed to facilitate familiarity with the water and build comfort. Instructors will act as facilitators and coordinate both structured and unstructured activities to promote water exploration. Parents will also learn how to properly use life jackets on their child. The child/parent ratio must be one to one. TERRIFIC TINY TOTS (Ages 3-5) This class is designed for toddlers that are comfortable being independent in the water without a parent. Focus is on development of motor skills in the water, overall confidence and independence in the water, supported floats, and arm circles. The ultimate goal of this class is to adequately prepare the participant for entry into future classes, basic safety and skill development. Participants will be encouraged to achieve a level of comfort where they can put their entire head and body under the water. Participants will also be given structured opportunities to further explore the water environment. SWIM LESSONS NEW! LOMBARD SWIM SCHOOL The Lombard Swim School is a new and improved swim lesson program for 2019. The Lombard Swim School has a variety of swim lessons available for all ages from infant to senior. Swimmers are evaluated to ensure proper placement the first day of class. Our teaching is based upon a natural progression of mastery of skills that provide a successful transition to the next level. This creates a foundation for each student to build upon and achieve success.
