Discover your creativity and imagination as an artist, developing fine motor skills, style, and vision as we explore different techniques through a variety of inspiring projects. Sketch and draw, shade and color, cut, glue, fold and create! Learn about great artists throughout history. Each week features an artist and fun exciting games. No experience necessary! YOUNG REMBRANDTS BEGINNING TECHNIQUES (Ages 3-4) This workshop will expand your beginning artist's image vocabulary as they learn valuable motor skills and drawing techniques. Students will learn engaging subject matter to encourage their active imaginations. We combine basic ideas with exciting drawings! All supplies are included and students will use a variety of mediums to help build art and drawing concepts, while having fun! Students will complete different drawings each class and learn to draw characters, everyday objects, and action scenes. This class combines basic drawing, portrait and cartooning skills. Students will explore the basics of all visual arts, in a fun and nurturing setting that encourages success for every child. The instructor will assign a style of hand building each week and students will determine the projects they want to make. Instructor consent to join the class is required.
