The Lombard Park District will be reimbursing Lombard Park District residents the di•erence between the Glen Ellyn Park District's resident and non-resident fee for a permit to their Spring Avenue Dog Park. The Spring Avenue Dog Park resident fee is $35, and the non-resident fee is $80. A second dog option is o•ered for an additional $30 for residents and an additional $50 to non-residents. To obtain a park permit, visit the Glen Ellyn Park District. Reimbursements will then be issued on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 150 dog permit registration receipts received at the Lombard Park District Administrative O‰ce, located at 227 W. Parkside Ave, Lombard, IL. Dog owners must provide printed proof that their dog has received its rabies vaccination to receive a permit for the park. Improve your basketball skills with these clinics offered by our friends at 3Point Athletics. Boys and girls will learn the latest techniques in ball-handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, footwork, offensive and defensive team play. Instructor: 3Point Athletics Location: Madison Meadow Athletic Center Code Day Date Time R/NR Fee 101152-01 M-F 03/30 - 04/03 12:00 - 3:00 pm $150/$160 T-BALL INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE (Ages 4-6) Youth T-Ball introduces basic baseball rules and sportsmanship along with teaching the necessary baseball fundamentals of base running, hitting, and fielding to your little athlete. The program begins with three weeks of instruction in a practice setting followed by three weeks of games. Games are one hour and can be played at 5:30 or 6:30 pm regardless of which time slot participants registered for. All participants will receive a t-shirt and hat prior to the start of games and there will be a Family Fun Night at the end of the season for all participants. Fridays will be used for rainouts. The program is taught by Park District Staff, but parents are invited to help with instruction. Volunteer today by calling (630) 953-2371. Please fill out a Youth Sports Info Form upon registering. Players must supply their own rackets. Tennis balls are supplied. Classes may be adjusted, cancelled, or combined. Instructors may move participants to a different level if necessary. Make-ups for rain-outs based on instructor availability. Pee-Wee (Ages 4-5): Children will be introduced to tennis with suitable equipment. Beginner (Ages 6-8): Emphasizes ball control and basic strokes, regardless of previous experience. Beginner Tennis & Games (Ages 6-8): A more advanced class emphasizing gameplay and minigames more than basic instruction. Must be able to play half court matches independently. Advanced Beginner (Ages 9-12): Children review basic skills and focus on footwork and the overhead serve. Junior Achiever Tennis Team (9-14): Focus on gameplay, must be able to serve over-head and serve in-bounds.
