SUMMER YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE
(Grades 1-8)
Join the park district's cooperative basketball league between Carol Stream,
Bloomingdale, Itasca, Medinah, Glendale Heights, Bensenville and Roselle.
Home games will be played in Lombard with road games played in other towns.
This recreational league focuses on skill development and individual player
participation. Games will be played on Sundays and begin 06/07. Practices
will be held during the week similar to the winter basketball league. Jerseys for
this league will be the Lombard Park District reversible red and black. Jerseys
may be purchased at the Sunset Knoll Recreation Center for $20.

VOLLEYBALL SKILLS & DRILLS
(Ages 6-14)
Volleykidz (Ages 6-9): Volleykidz is an introductory class for children grades 1-3.
The lesson plan introduces the pass, set and spike using a very light volleyball.
Junior EVP Volleyball Skills & Drills (Ages 10-14): Improve your volleyball
skills in this 90-minute session featuring drills for setting, passing, overhand
serving and spiking. Instructors organize games at the end of each class.
EVP Volleykidz Summer Camps (Ages 6-14): These four-day camps will
concentrate on volleyball fundamentals. Improve hand-eye coordination and
left-right coordination through exciting drills and gameplay.
Please note: There is a $10 fee included in R/NR pricing for a new personal ball
provided by EVP Academy.

FALL GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUE

The Lombard Park District offers an extensive youth softball program including
instruction for all ages and skill levels. The primary goal is to create an opportunity
for fundamental skills development in a positive, supportive, friendly, safe and
fun environment for players. Coaches will determine all practice times. The Park
District reserves the right to combine age levels if necessary.

STICKS FOR KIDS
(Ages 6-10)
Golf is an excellent forum to introduce youth to physical activity, appreciate
nature and provide an opportunity to learn a lifetime sport. Golf also provides
one of the unique opportunities to instill lifelong values such as etiquette,
patience, and persistence. Join us as you learn the rules of the game, golf
etiquette, golf swing, driving, chipping and putting. This program is designed
to introduce your young person to all aspects of golf. Bring your own clubs or
clubs will be provided.

FREE YOUTH GOLF SPECIAL
The NEW Free Youth Golf Special is available seven days a week at Lombard
Golf Course. Residents and non-residents 14 years and under can golf for FREE
when playing with a paying adult. The special is valid all day Monday through
Friday and limited to play after 12:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
