WHITE SOX TRAINING CAMP
White Sox Training Centers take a grass roots approach to nurturing a lifelong
love for baseball. These are not day care camps nor autograph sessions. Young
players who are interested in improving their skills will be given a chance to learn
basic and advanced baseball skills from some of the most gifted teachers in the
game. White Sox Training Centers are taught by the best in the business; primarily collegiate coaches, ex-professional players, high school coaches and full time
private instructors.
WHITE SOX LITTLE SLUGGERS CAMP
(Ages 5-6)
This beginner program is open to boys and girls ages 5 & 6. The purpose of the
Little Sluggers program is to introduce this age group to the game of baseball.
In addition to focusing on the basics of the game, players will also learn practice
leads to improvement and the best way to have more fun playing baseball. Our
student-to-instructor ratio of 10:1 or less assures every player of getting the attention they deserve.

WHITE SOX INTERMEDIATE CAMP
(Ages 7-8)
More than 50,000 youth baseball players have attended one of the Training
Centers to focus on essential individual aspects of baseball including: throwing,
hitting, bunting, fielding, pitching and baserunning. Throughout the week,
teachings will be reinforced by using fun skill games. On the final day all players
will get the opportunity to judge their improvement by playing a game. Student
to instructor ratio will be 10:1 or less.

WHITE SOX ADVANCED CAMP
(Ages 9-11)
Attention players! This Advanced Camp from the White Sox is just for you. You
have special, more advanced needs, and the Advanced Camp is just the ticket to
prepare you for trying out for a travel team someday. This camp will build on the
basics taught in our STC 1 camps. Depending on the skill level of the players, this
camp will touch on advanced hitting and throwing techniques, as well as team
play, advanced base running and other techniques that could be used on the
field this season. Just because you are in-season doesn't mean that you can stop
learning the game.

SPORTSKIDS INC PROGRAMS & CAMPS
The Lombard Park District has partnered with SportsKids Inc to offer a variety of
athletics programs for your child. SportsKids Inc has been a leader in recreational
youth programs for a number of years. All instructors specialize in working with
youth participants and all programs are designed to cultivate a positive experience
for your child.
PEE WEE LACROSSE
(Ages 4-6)
Play lacrosse like the big kids. Age appropriate sized sticks and
softer balls will be used for safety. Children will learn skills including
cradling, stick work, running, passing, shooting, and more.

INTRO TO ARCHERY
(Ages 6-13)
Learn the fun and unique pastime of archery in an extremely safe
environment. Participants will learn the parts of an arrow and
recurve bow, the basics of using a recurve bow, and fundamental shooting skills.
They also will learn an excellent, nationally recognized beginner's 9-step to the
10 ring progression which was created by the Coaches Development Committee
of the National Archery Association. Blunt tipped arrows, bows, and targets are
provided. A mix of technique and games will be a part of this class. The later
session will be a Parent/Child session.

This class is a great introduction to the sport of soccer. Basic
