This event is designed for tennis enthusiasts to meet others who love tennis, play some sets and have fun. Depending on enrollment, players will be rotated onto doubles pairings throughout the day, and play at least three 30-minute matches. End time will depend on number of participants. Prizes will be awarded. Please pre-register by June 27th. Instructor: Suzie Lobdell Location: Lombard Common Tennis Courts (Ages 18 +) Improve your tennis skills with LPD tennis instruction! Lessons will cater to beginning players who have never played before or have limited experience. Players will brush up on basics with a focus on strokes, overhead serve, and progressing to volley placement and consistency. Drills cater to individuals who know the basics of tennis, and good players who want to get better. Improving consistency, and footwork are the goals of the drills classes. Players must supply own racquets. Lessons and Drills classes may be combined based on enrollment. Rained out classes will be made up between 7/29-8/1 for the 7-week session and on Mondays or Fridays for all other sessions.
