(Ages 7-12)
Educate your loved ones and register for this class, which will give children helpful
tips and confidence if they find themselves home alone! This American Red Cross
course teaches skills that children should know if they find themselves alone (i.e.:
answering phones, doors, etc.) Register early; space is limited.

MARVELOUS MAGIC
(Ages 5-12)
Children are guaranteed to have a great time as they learn a collection of fascinating and mesmerizing tricks. Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve
cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading and more. While the tricks may appear difficult,
you'll discover that they are quick to learn and easy to perform. All materials are
provided; each child receives a magic kit to take home. Children are grouped by
age and always learn tricks that are age appropriate. New tricks are taught each
session.

BALLOON ANIMALS
(Ages 6-13)
Did you ever want to learn how to make those cool balloon animals that you
see at parties? Well, now you can. With just a little practice, children will learn
the techniques needed to take a plain balloon and transform it into a fascinating
balloon animal creation (like dogs, butterflies, swords, etc.). And at the end of the
class children will get to take home all of the things that they made. And this class
isn't just for kids. Parents are more than welcome to join their children in the class
(at no extra charge).

CHESS SCHOLARS
(Ages 5-12)
This camp is designed for both beginners and experienced young players. All
participants will learn cool new strategies at the appropriate level from a renowned
Chess Scholars coach. Each class will consist of a fun interactive teaching period
and guided practice time. Children will have the opportunity to test for a Chess
Belt under a unique Chess Scholars system patterned after martial arts belts. There
will also be a chess competition with prizes! Each camper will take home a chess set
and an award. Please bring your own snacks.

STRATEGY FOR KIDS

This camp is an exciting opportunity for your child to develop logic, problem
solving, and planning skills. Every class, each child will learn two or three new
skill-based games (no luck or chance involved!). Both team and individual games
will be played. There will also be a tournament with prizes!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS, PROPER INTRODUCTIONS, &
WRITING THANK YOU NOTES
(Ages 6-12)
As the old saying goes, "You have only one chance to make a good first impression." This session is designed to instill in participants the importance of good
manners when being introduced to people for the first time. Children will also learn
how to introduce themselves and others and will be taught the basic guidelines of
writing thank you notes as of means of showing someone they are appreciated.
Through this session participants will learn through role playing, interacting with
each other, and will practice actual supplies such as cards, markers, pens, rubber
stamps, and stickers. Students will go home with a folder full of handouts and
information covered in class.
