Population by Age
Age segments appear to remain relatively constant with a slight decrease in ages 15-
19 and 35-54 by 2016. The greatest increases by 2016 will be ages 55-74, a testament
to the aging baby-boomer population. Overall, males represent 48.2% of the
population and females represent 51.8%.
Race and Ethnicity
Race and ethnicity is primarily White with 80.7% of the total population in 2010.
This White population is projected to reduce to 79.3% by 2016. This is a result of an
increase in diversity with the largest increase being the Hispanic population increasing
from 8.1% in 2010 to a projected 10.9% by 2016.
