Stakeholder Meetings
Interview discussions were held with various interested stakeholders and Park
District staff members. In addition, an online survey was distributed as a way of
supplementing the focus groups.
Stakeholder Meetings, held on January 9, 2013, consisted of participants representing
the following groups:
• School District 44 and 87 Superintendents and Representatives
• Past Lombard Park District Staff
• Board Commissioners
• Lombard Historical Society
• Village Staff
• Chamber of Commerce
• NEDSRA
• Lombard Garden Club
• Library Staff
• Local sports representatives
The meetings included a brief discussion of the Research and Analysis data. No
pre-conceived notions of outcome had been formulated prior to the meetings. Input
questions included: What is good? What is not working? What works well? What have
you seen elsewhere? What would you like the Park District to consider? Meeting
notes and attendance lists were taken for each group and have been included in their
entirety in the appendix.
