School of Rec is available to District 44 K-6 students
attending Hammerschmidt, Madison Manor Hill,
Park View, Pleasant Lane & Glenn Westlake now
through the return of full in-person learning.
School of Rec is a quality recreation-based K-6
program with e-learning opportunities operated by
the Lombard Park District. The program is designed
to provide a recreational service for families in the
community in an environment that is safe and
stimulating. The participants will enjoy indoor and
outdoor free play, arts and crafts, games, activities,
a healthy snack and designated e-learning and
homework time.

School of Rec is offered with a variety of registration
options to choose from. Please explore the Parent
Handbook available online for registration options
and pricing information. School of Rec will operate
out of the Lombard Community Building and Sunset
Knoll Recreation Center. Parents will be notified of
their child's site location after registration and prior
to the start of the program. For more information,
