Marvelous Magic
(Ages 5-12)
Children will amaze their family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mindreading and more. Tricks
may appear difficult, but you'll discover that they are easy to perform. All materials are provided and each child will
receive a kit to take home. Children are grouped by age and will receive a magic kit to take home.

Join the Lombard Park District on days when school isn't in session! Participants will enjoy games, crafts and activities
with friends. Every day will feature a new theme. Whether you are part of our School of Rec program or just want to
spend time making new friends, this program welcomes everyone. Participants in School of Rec will receive a discount

Home Alone
(Ages 7-12)
This American Red Cross course teaches skills children should know if they find themselves alone (i.e. answering
phones, doors, etc.) Space is limited. Register early!

Let's Build It - Chain Reactions
(Ages 6-11)
In this STEAM program, students will be building Rube Goldberg's "Mouse Trap" chain-reaction machines featuring
levers, pulleys and other simple machines. Engineering and physics concepts will be introduced and reinforced through
hands-on, innovative lessons and creative play time. Problem solving skills and teamwork will be put to the test as the
complexity of the projects increases from week to week. Each student will receive an award on the last day of class and
have the opportunity to earn Energy Belts to demonstrate their learned skills!
