a taste of milwaukee
(Ages 55+)
On this "Taste of Milwaukee" tour, we'll travel throughout Milwaukee learning about the history of the city and the
different ethnic groups who settled there, picking up tasty treats along the way. Our guide will provide an overview
of the city, focusing on different neighborhoods' background and showing us the current revitalization progress. We'll
visit Walker's Point, Historic Third Ward, East Town, Old World Third Street, Lincoln Village, Brady Street and North
Shore. We'll enjoy the culinary treats that define each neighborhood - from chocolate, cheese, cannoli and custard
to bakery, beer, bratwurst and brandy. Everyone will receive a goodie bag and to be filled as we tour the city. We'll
also stop for a Polish family-style lunch at Polonez featuring pierogi, potato pancakes and polish sausage. Bring your
appetite for an educational and fun-filled day in Milwaukee!
