Enjoy magnificent performances by Lombard
Park District's dance students at the Annual
Dance Recital held in March 2022. To perform
in the recital, students must enroll in two
consecutive sessions of the same style of dance
beginning in Autumn 2021 and continuing
through Winter 2022. A mandatory dress
rehearsal will be held the Friday prior to the show.
Only students who wish to perform in the recital
may register for Winter 2022. Lombard Park
District reminds students and parents that each
dancer is responsible for the purchase of his or
her costume and that the park district cannot
issue refunds for costumes once they have
been ordered. All dance classes will perform in
the dance recital with the exception of Twirling
Toddlers and Dance TeamTechnique. For more

appropriate
attire
Appropriate dance attire is required for all dance
classes. Jeans, dresses, sandals or street shoes
will not be permitted. All dancers must wear the
following dance shoes to class: black jazz shoes for
all hip hop and pom/jazz classes, black tap shoes for
all tap classes, and white or pink ballet shoes for all
pre-ballet, ballet and lyrical/contemporary classes.

Lombard Poms Competition Team
(Ages 5-14)
The Lombard Poms Team is looking for energetic and talented kids who would love to dance, learn and perform as a
team while making new friends. The poms program consists of three competitive pom levels: Minis (ages 5-8), Juniors
(ages 9-11) and Seniors (ages 12-14). The team will learn skills such as kicks, turns and jumps, and then use what they
learn to develop a routine. From February to April, the team will compete against other park districts in 3-4 meets,
hosted on weekends. Commitment to the squad includes the purchase of team uniforms, poms and weekly attendance
at practices on Monday nights. Parents and participants who are interested in finding out more about the program are
strongly encouraged to attend the information session.
