Learn to use the pottery wheel to create your own projects. Students will learn how to center, raise, open and pull in
order to create a variety of pieces with special glazing techniques to help bring their creations to life. Space is limited.

NEW! High School Open Studio
(Ages 14-18)
This class is an open studio setting offering a combination of hand building and wheel throwing for high school
students. Students will create and glaze pieces of their choice. Participants must have completed a ceramics class in
high school or have approval from the instructor.

Beginner adult hand building
(Ages 18+)
This introductory class will teach students how to hand build with clay. Students will learn pottery basics like coil,
pinch pot, slab and forming techniques. Every participant will complete four glazed projects demonstrating their new
ceramic skills. Creativity is encouraged to personalize each piece! No previous ceramics experience required!
