WINTER YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE
(Grades K-8)
Teams with a maximum of 10 players learn basic skills and enjoy the fun and competition of weekly games. Grades
K-2 will have 8 weeks of both practices and games, held on Saturdays. Grades 3 and up will play a 9-game season
on weekends and participate in weekly practices at a local school gym. Volunteer coaches will determine the day,
time and location of practices. Additional practice times will be determined based on gym availability. Please note:
Winter Youth Basketball will follow the All Sports Policy issued by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH),
adapting to any and all changes throughout the season.
Required Items: Lombard Park District jersey, gym shoes and a water bottle.

District's Youth Sports Information Form
available online at lombardparks.com/youth-
athletics. Partcipants must also purchase
a game jersey for $20 at Sunset Knoll
Recreation Center. Players registering after
the 11/12 deadline will be placed on a waitlist
and will not be guaranteed a spot. Withdrawals
after 12/16 will be subject to a $10 processing
fee. A prorated refund may be granted within
the first two weeks of play; however, refunds
will not be granted after. Requests for teams,
players or coaches will not be guaranteed.
Teams will be formed using Lombard Park
District's Team Formation Guidelines. For
more information, please explore the parent

youth-athletics. Please note: leagues may be
combined based on enrollment.
HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL LEAGUE
(Grades 9-12)
Invite your friends and organize a team to continue your basketball career through high school! Players in this
basketball league will practice weekly and play games on Sunday afternoons. Teams play 8 regular season
games and participate in a tournament at the end of the season. Jerseys will be provided prior to the first
game. Please note: leagues may be combined based on enrollment. Players who play for their high school
basketball team cannot play in this league due to IHSA rules. All players must be in high school during the
2021 - 2022 season. Requests for teams, players or coaches will not be guaranteed. Volunteer coaches are
encouraged to apply as soon as possible to secure a team for the season.

AFTER SCHOOL BASKETBALL CAMP
(Ages 6-11)
Have fun learning the fundamentals of the game through unique drills, games and contests that keep
participants active and sharpen their basketball skills. This program blends the perfect amount of organized
games and fun activities!
