SPRING YOUTH SOCCER
(Age 4-Grade 9)
Give your child the opportunity to experience the world's most popular sport! Participants will learn and improve
their soccer skills and share in the fun and camaraderie at the heart of youth sports in this program. Teams practice
weather-permitting once per week on a day, time and location determined by coaches. Teams will hold at least one
practice before their first game of the season. Games are approximately one hour on Saturdays. If rainouts occur,
games will be rescheduled for an additional Saturday at the end of the season or on weekday evenings.

FENCING - OLYMPIC SWORDPLAY
(Ages 8+)
Want to wield a sword? Fencing is one of the few sports that already practices safe social distancing. Enjoy
competitive fun safely without "fighting." Please note: the instructor considers height and ability of each
fencer. Fencing equipment is required. Please contact Fencing Sports Club at (630) 678-0035 to understand
different equipment options. Register with family members or friends to increase the fun! Additional family
members receive a 50% discount when registering together.

AT A GLANCE
All participants must fill out Lombard Park
District's Youth Sports Information Form
available online at lombardparks.com/youth-
athletics. Partcipants must also purchase a
game jersey for $20 at Sunset Knoll Recreation
Center. Participants registering after the
03/07 deadline will be placed on a waitlist and
will not be guaranteed a spot. Withdrawals
after 04/09 are subject to a $10 processing
fee. A prorated refund may be granted within
the first two weeks of play; however, refunds
will not be granted after. Requests for teams,
players or coaches will not be guaranteed.
Teams will be formed using Lombard Park
District's Team Formation Guidelines. For
more information, please explore the parent
manual available online at lombardparks.com/
youth-athletics. Please note: leagues may be
combined based on enrollment.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Children must turn 4 by the first week of
practice to play in the Pre-K league. Grades
5 and up will combine with Glen Ellyn Park
District and play some games at Ackerman
Park in Glen Ellyn.
