T-BALL INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
(Ages 4-6)
Youth T-Ball introduces basic baseball rules and sportsmanship along with teaching the necessary baseball
fundamentals of base running, hitting, and fielding to your little athlete. The program begins with three
weeks of instruction in a practice setting followed by three weeks of games (July 11 - 28). Games are 50
minutes and can be played at 5:30 or 6:30 pm regardless of which time slot participants registered. All
participants will receive a t-shirt and hat prior to the start of games. Practices will begin 6/13 and games will
begin 7/11, or 7/12. Fridays will be used for rainouts. The program is taught by Park District Staff, but parents
are invited to help with instruction. Baseball glove and water bottle will be required. Please note: You will
not recieve a call from coach. This is a very beginner level program, where basic fundamentals are taught.

SPRING GIRLS SOFTBALL

The Lombard Park District offers an extensive youth softball program including instruction for all ages and skill
levels. The primary goal is to create an opportunity for fundamental skills development in a positive, supportive,
friendly, safe and most importantly, fun environment for every player. Coaches will determine all practice times. The
Park District reserves the right to combine age levels if necessary.
