P2 SOCCER CLINICS

Join professional coaches and take your soccer skills to the next level! This high-energy, developmental soccer
class will teach players the technical fundamentals through skills training and gameplay. Players will be taught by
professionally licensed coaches from both the UK and Chicago.

FUTURE FIREBIRDS
(Ages 5-10)
For those players who are wanting some extra soccer training. Firebirds SC is offering an opportunity to train once
per week alongisde their current training program with a professional club coach. Have fun, learn something new,
play some scrimmages and enhance your game through this developmental program.

LITTLE KICKERS SOCCER
(Ages 3 and a parent)
Is your little soccer enthusiast not quite old enough for the Youth Soccer League? Little Kickers will allow them
to experience the thrill of soccer! This class will focus primarily on age-appropriate games to help acclimate your
young one to soccer and teach them the basics. Many of the activities will involve both the child and parent. A
parent must be present for this activity. Required items: comfortable clothes, water bottle and parent. Practice
location will be Lombard Common behind the pool and next to the picnic area.

SPRING YOUTH SOCCER
(Age 4-Grade 9)
Give your child the opportunity to experience the worlds most popular sport! Participants will learn and improve
their soccer skills and share in the fun and camaraderie at the heart of youth sports in this program. Teams practice
weather permitting once per week on a day, time and location determined by coaches. Teams will hold at least one
practice before their first game of the season. Games are approximately one hour on Saturdays. If rainouts occur,
games will be rescheduled for an additional Saturday at the end of the season or on weekday evenings. Grades
5+ girls and boys leagues could be combined into a co-rec league if participation is low. Please consult the Team
Formation Guidelines. Games will start 4/9/22.

com/youth-athletics. Partcipants must
also purchase a game jersey for $20 at
Sunset Knoll Recreation Center. Please
note: Pre-K league participants do NOT
need to purchase a jersey. League shirts
will be provided prior to the first game for
the Pre-K league. Participants registering
after the 03/07 deadline will be placed
on a waitlist and will not be guaranteed
a spot. Withdrawals after 04/10 are
subject to a $10 processing fee. Requests
for teams, players or coaches will not be
guaranteed. Teams will be formed using
Lombard Park District's Team Formation
Guidelines. Grades 5 and up will combine
with Glen Ellyn Park District and play
some games at Ackerman Park in Glen
Ellyn.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Children must turn 4 by the first week of
practice to play in the Pre-K league.
