BOYS LACROSSE SKILLS
(Grades 1st-8th)
This Fall, the Lombard Park District is offering a great instructional Lacrosse
program for Lombard athletes. This program is welcome to beginners and
experienced players. Grades: 1st – 8th grade. This instructional program is
perfect for players who want to get better and better! The elite coaches at New
Wave Lacrosse will provide a fun and challenging itinerary this season to help
players develop quickly.
BEGINNERS will learn the fundamentals and rules of the game. This group
will work closely with their coach to start and will quickly transition into the faster
paced stick work drills.
EXPERIENCED players will be expected to understand the fundamentals (i.e.
Throwing, catching, basic offense/defense) and will jump right into faster paced,
challenging drills.
This is an 'in house' instructional program…not a league. The groups will
work into age-appropriate "internal" scrimmages after the second week of the
program. Participants will not be expected to travel for games as all scrimmages
will be intrasquad.

VOLLEYBALL SKILLS & DRILLS
(Grades 3-8)
Improve your volleyball skills in setting, passing, overhand serving and spiking.
The program includes an evaluation of each student, as well as a youth volleyball
rating. Organized games will be held at the end of each class.

FUN WITH FOOTBALL PARENT & ME
(Ages 4-5 with Parent)
Enjoy nerf football with your son or daughter. You, along with our accomplished
coaches, will help your little athlete learn the proper form and technique of
catching, throwing, snapping, hand-offs, kick-offs and more in our fun and
friendly setting.
