Calling all dancers! The Lombard Poms Team is looking for energetic & talented
kids who'd love to dance, learn, and perform as a team while making new friends.
The Poms program consists of 3 competitive pom levels: Ages 5-7, Ages 8-11, and
Ages 12-17. Depending on enrollment, there may be more than one team formed
at some of the age levels. The team will learn skills such as kicks, turns, and jumps,
and then use what they learned to develop a routine. From February-April, the
team will compete against other park districts in 3-4 meets, held on weekends.
The season ends with a final performance at Kids Day in Lilacia Park and
participation in the Lilac Day Parade in May. Commitment to the squad includes
the purchase of team uniforms and poms, and weekly attendance at practices on
Monday nights. The first session is a 4-week session, designed to give your child
a sneak peak at the Poms Team before committing to the full season that runs
through May. Come check out the free introductory practice the first week of the
season (registration required).

Parents and participants who are interested in finding out more about the
program and meeting Head Coach Lauren are strongly encouraged to attend the
Information Session.
