Delight in the beautiful scenery on a 15 mile, two-hour cruise aboard this authentic paddlewheel boat. After a late morning departure, enjoy a tradition dating back more than 75 years, at the Museum of Science & Industry's "Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light". See the grand 45-foot Christmas tree which graces the Museum rotunda covered with more than 30,000 twinkling lights and surrounded by more than 50 smaller Christmas trees carefully decorated to represent countries and cultures from around the world. Each tree has a description about the decorations and the customs of that country. Later visit the colorful Christkindlmarket at Daley Plaza. Called the most authentic traditional holiday market of its kind outside of Europe, it offers a unique shopping experience. Enjoy a late, great lunch at the Grand Lux Café, located in the heart of the Magnificent Mile on North Michigan Ave specially decorated for the Holidays. Later, enjoy a narrated, guided tour of the breathtaking Christmas Lights, the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival along Michigan Avenue, the Macy's Christmas windows and the Chicago Christmas Tree and Skating Rink at Millennium Park.
