Training will be provided in safety, safe play, basic care, first aid, leadership, and professionalism. Class includes a digital copy of the handbook, review materials, certification card and a first aid kit. Please bring a lunch and snacks. Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mindreading, and more. While the tricks may appear difficult, you'll discover that they are quick to learn and easy to perform. All materials are provided; each child receives a magic kit to take home. Children are grouped by age and always learn tricks that are age appropriate. New tricks are taught each session. Each class will consist of a fun interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both new and returning participants will get to the next level under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. Children will have the opportunity to test for a Chess Belt under a unique Chess Scholars system patterned after martial arts belts. There will also be a chess competition with prizes at the end of the session! The online portion of class must be completed before class and serves as a two-year certification. The course fee includes online access to a digital version of the manual and a refresher course.
