in order to create a variety of pieces with special glazing techniques to help bring

TEEN WHEEL
(Ages 13-18)

BEGINNER ADULT HAND BUILDING
(Ages 18+)
This introductory class will teach students how to hand-build with clay. Students will
learn pottery basics like coil, pinch pot, slab, and forming techniques will be taught.
Every participant will complete 4 glazed projects demonstrating their new ceramic
skills. Creativity is encouraged to personalize each piece! No previous ceramics
experience required.

ADULT POTTERY-FISH IN CLAY
(Ages 18+)
Design and create a school (3) of fish that can be placed on stakes for the garden or
designed as luminaries for the deck. Students will add eye catching glaze and texture to
make this school their own. No previous experience required.

FINE ARTS
BEGINNER ADULT WHEEL

Learn to use the pottery wheel to create your own projects. Students will be introduced
to fundamentals of attaching, centering, throwing and trimming basic forms. You will
use your choice of glazes to finish your pieces. Space is limited, sign up early.

CONTINUING ADULT WHEEL
(Ages 18+)
This wheel class is for those who have advanced past the beginners class and can
successfully attach/center 2-3 lb of clay independently. Students will be able to work
independently on the wheel with instructor guidance. Previous beginner class or
instructor consent required to join the class.

POTTERY OPEN STUDIO
(Ages 18+)
This is an open studio setting for individuals with previous pottery experience.
Instructor consent to join the class is required. Students will have an opportunity to
work independently on the wheel and hand building to create their own unique pieces,
complete with a variety of glazing techniques. Looking for extra studio time? Sign up
for the extended hour of class. Participants must be enrolled in the two-hour class in
order to register for the extra hour. Space is limited so sign up early.
