YOUTH ATHLETICS 34 P2 SOCCER WITH FIREBIRDS SOCCER CAMP (Ages 4-16) P2 Soccer is back with this popular soccer camp open to all players who want to work with some professional coaches and improve their skills this summer! P2 Soccer's child-centered curriculum focuses on teaching the fundamentals to our youngest of soccer players through motor-skill development soccer games, whilst ensuring that we challenge our slightly older and more experienced players through engaging technical skills activities and games in addition to providing exposure to small-sided game play, of which is proven to improve a players overall skill level and competitiveness. All staff are professionally trained to deliver a fun, developmental soccer camp to all players. All players will receive a P2 Soccer Nike jersey during the camp week. Coached by our team of international and US-based staff, our week-long half day and full day soccer camps improve childrens' soccer skills while providing a unique cultural experience. Formerly known as International Soccer Camps, and rooted in British training methodology, these camps introduce our international training tactics to campers across the United States and Canada. Our curriculum and coaching foundation meets engaging delivery for an all-around positive experience. Camps are designed for all ages and ability levels, from beginner to advanced players. We use age appropriate practices to help players develop at their own pace, learn brand new skills and become an all- round better player, while having an amazing time with our international coaching staff! The camps include an educational approach that uses soccer to teach the core values of responsibility, integrity, respect, sportsmanship and leadership. Participants will learn and improve their soccer skills and share in the fun and camaraderie at the heart of youth sports in this program. Teams practice weather permitting once per week on a day, time and location determined by coaches. Teams will hold at least one practice before their first game of the season. Games are approximately one hour on Saturdays. If rainouts occur, games will be rescheduled for an additional Saturday at the end of the season or on weekday evenings. Grades 5+ girls and boys leagues could be combined into a co-rec league if participation is low. Please consult the Team Formation Guidelines. Games will start 08/26.
