This party includes a catered lunch and entertainment. Register early! Beginner/Intermediate lessons will cater to beginning players who have never played before or intermediate players who have limited experience and formal instruction. Players will brush up on basics with a focus on strokes, overhead serve, and progressing to rally placement and consistency. Will include both individual and group instruction. Adult Drills caters to individuals who know the basics of tennis, and any player who wants to improve. This class will feature less step-by-step instruction and more match-play and volleying. Players must supply own rackets. Instructors may recommend switching class levels based on skill level. Since 1979, the course has helped more than 15 million drivers learn research-based tips to adapt their driving to compensate for physical and cognitive changes that may occur with aging. Plus, you may qualify for a multi-year automobile insurance discount by completing the course (check with your auto insurance agent for details). Please note: AARP Members will receive $5 at the conclusion of class. The final sculpture will stand approximately 9 inches tall, making it a beautiful gift, handmade centerpiece for the holidays or simply a friend to keep you company through the dark winter with it's whimsical personality. Individual decision-making, add-ons and glaze choices will make these pieces personal and one-of-a-kind. Come take a cozy Friday night clay class with the Lombard Park District, unwind and play!
