SPRING YOUTH GIRLS SOFTBALL
(Grades K-8)
The Lombard Park District offers an extensive youth softball program including instruction for all ages and skill levels. The primary goal is to create an opportunity for
fundamental skills development in a positive, supportive, friendly, safe and most importantly, fun environment for every player. Coaches will determine all practice times.
The Park District reserves the right to combine age levels if necessary. May co-op at certain levels if necessary. Levels are determined by age as of January 1. Please note:
Registration received after February 22 may result in your child not being placed with a classmate or friend.

EXACT SPORTS SOFTBALL 101
(Ages 8-10)
At EXACT Sports, we believe sports are more than just a game. The skills and
fundamentals athletes acquire from sports are carried over to all other aspects
of their lives. The softball fundamentals 101 class concentrates on improving
throwing, catching, hitting, fielding and running the bases through activities, drills
and live game play. Participants must bring their own mitt, bat and water bottle.
Own helmet suggested.

EXACT SPORTS ADVANCED SKILLS & DRILLS
(Ages 11-14)
At EXACT Sports, we believe sports are more than just a game. The skills and
fundamentals athletes acquire from sports are carried over to all other aspects of
their lives. The advanced softball skills & drills class is designed to improve athletes'
techniques for throwing, catching, fielding, batting and base running to prepare
them for the next level. Athletes will also gain exposure to a variety of positions
and game-like scenarios for a complete understanding of the sport. Participants
must bring their own mitt, bat and water bottle. Own helmet suggested.

IN-HOUSE SOFTBALL CLINIC & OPEN GYM
(Ages 8-14)
Girls interested in sharpening their softball skills can attend our indoor self-paced
open gym sessions. The gym will be set for players are able to work on pitching,
catching and hitting. Participants must be enrolled in our Spring Youth Softball
program for the Spring 2024 season to attend the open gym sessions.

EXACT SPORTS SOFTBALL PITCHING CLINIC
(Ages 8-14)
At EXACT Sports, we believe sports are more than just a game. The skills and
fundamentals athletes acquire from sports are carried over to all other aspects
of their lives. We're excited to host a specialized Softball Pitching Clinic under
the guidance of seasoned instructors and college softball players from Elmhurst
University! Participants will improve essential pitching techniques, learn several
pitch variations and fine-tune their mechanics. Players must bring their own mitt,
bat and water bottle. Own helmet suggested.
