ABOUT THE PLAY!
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing
prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home:
suburban Illinois. How will this naive newbie rise to the top of the
popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized
frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and
her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina's reign with Cady
going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. When the lines between the
real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find a way back to
herself and her true friends.
(Ages 8-15)
Lombard Park District is proud to announce its premiere recreational
youth theatre program. Actors in grades 3-9 will work together to create
quality, age appropriate productions suitable for family viewing. Auditions
are required in order to be a part of the cast. Casting will be based on
availability, ability and positive attitude. Cast members will be enrolled in
the program as a class and must pay the participation fee. This fee covers
professional instruction throughout the process, a copy of the script which
performers may keep, a cast t-shirt and production costs. There is no cost
to audition. Children will be seen in small groups during their audition time
slot. They will fill out a short audition form listing their possible conflicts
and any previous experience and will have a digital photograph taken for
the artistic staff's reference during casting.

Location: Sunset Knoll Recreation Center
Auditions: Wednesday, January 3 and Thursday, January 4 from 4:00 -
7:00 pm.
Rehearsals: Wednesday and Friday evenings, 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Rehearsals
will begin January 10.
Tech Week: Monday, March 18 - Thursday, March 21
(Rehearsals will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm daily during this week)
Performance Dates: Friday, March 22 - Sunday, March 24
