CREATE A PLAY
(Ages 8-12)
Students will have a chance to create a short script and bring their piece to life.
Participants will cast, direct and perform in each others' pieces to create a final
performance for families on the last day of class.

MUSICAL KIDS
(Ages 8-12)
Participants will learn songs, simple dances and short acting scenes from a
musical selection, as an abbreviated experience of what it is like to be a part of
a show. Roles will be evenly distributed among participants, with a final family
performance on the last day of class.

PAGE TO STAGE
(Ages 4-7)
Use your creative energy to step inside a storybook and bring it to life! This
beginning drama class will be filled with storybook themed activities, art and
exercise. This new class will bring a different story to life each week.

HERE WE COME A CAROLING
(Ages 8+)
New this year, Lombard Park District Upstart Performing Arts is welcoming all
ages to take part in a carol singing ensemble! Songs will be selected early in the
rehearsal process. There will be multiple performance opportunities available by
sign up culminating in a final group performance for the community at Lilacia
Park, for the Jingle Bell Jubilee.

LOMBARD'S GOT TALENT
(Ages 5+)
Calling all Lombardians! Have a secret or unique talent you want to show off, but
would never dream of going through the hassle of a network TV show? How about
sharing it with your fellow community members at Lombard Park District Upstart
Performing Arts' first community-wide talent show? Juggling, singing, comedy
routine, dancing and palm reading? The list of talented people in our village is long.
Come and show us what you've got! Sign up for an audition Friday, November 1 or
Saturday, November 2. All ages eligible. Once the act is accepted, registration fee
will include personalized rehearsal time with staff to show off your act in the best
possible light. Dress rehearsal will be held on Friday, November 15 and the talent
show will be held November 16.
