Learn to use the potter's wheel. Students will be introduced to fundamentals of
attaching, centering, throwing, and trimming. Students will have their choice of
glazes to finish their pieces. Space is limited, sign up early!

CONTINUING YOUTH POTTERY WHEEL

This class is for those who have advanced past the beginner youth wheel classes
and can successfully attach/center 1-2lb of clay. Students will learn more advanced
techniques. Previous beginner class or instructor consent required to join the class.

ADULT POTTERY
ADULT HAND BUILDING
(Ages 18+)
This introductory class will teach students how to create with clay. Students will
learn essential pottery techniques such as pinch pot, coil, slab, and sculpture.
They will then use these skills to make four pieces of unique art. Students will
come away with an understanding of the pottery process from creation to firing
to glazing. This class is for beginners and those with some pottery experience. All
supplies are included. Take yourself out for pottery on Friday nights!

This wheel class is for those who have advanced past the beginners class and can
successfully attach/center 2-3 lb of clay independently. Students will be able to
work independently on the wheel with instructor guidance. Previous beginner

POTTERY OPEN STUDIO
(Ages 18+)
This is an open studio setting for individuals with previous pottery experience.
Instructor consent to join the class is required. Students will have an opportunity
to work independently on the wheel and hand-building to create their own unique
pieces. Class includes all supplies, clay, tools, glaze, and electric kiln firing. Looking
for extra studio time? Sign up for the extended hour of class. Participants must
be enrolled in the two-hour class in order to register for the extra hour. Space is
limited so sign up early.
