T-BALL
INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
(Ages 4-6)
Youth T-Ball introduces basic baseball rules and sportsmanship along with teaching the necessary baseball fundamentals of base running, hitting, and fielding to your
little athlete. The program begins with three weeks of instruction in a practice setting followed by three weeks of games (07/07 - 07/24). Games are 50 minutes and can
be played at 5:30 or 6:30 pm regardless of which time slot participants registered. All participants will receive a t-shirt and hat prior to the start of games. Fridays will be
used for rainouts. The program is taught by Park District staff, but parent involvement is encouraged for practices and games. Please note: you will NOT receive a call
from a coach. This is a very beginner level program, where basic fundamentals are taught. Report to field 12 at Madison Meadow on the program's first day. Required
items: baseball glove and water bottle.

FENCING: OLYMPIC SWORDPLAY
(Ages 8+)
Want to wield a sword? Enjoy competitive fun safely without "fighting". Fencing combines fast critical thinking with flowing body movements. All ages are combined for
beginning classes with adults generally graduating into the adult advanced level faster than youth. Please note: the instructor considers height and ability of each fencer.
Equipment is required. Please speak with the fencing club at 630.678.0035 to understand your options. Register with family members or friends to increase the fun!
Additional family members receive a 50% discount when registering together.
