34 SUMMER 2025 SUMMER CAMPS SUMMER CAMPS S.T.E.A.M. CAMP (Ages 5-10) This exciting program from Afterschool Enrichment Solutions brings together elements of science, art and math in a hands-on, action-packed environment! Students will conduct experiments, play educational games, and unlock their creativity through building challenges and projects. No experience necessary! This camp will include relaxation tips, group games, sports, craft projects, and local adventures. Each day will be filled with making new friends, team building challenges, and lots of fun! Girls will travel on Wednesday and Thursday to a local forest preserve for hiking and playgrounds to explore. Campers will have the opportunity to learn and work with many different mediums such as watercolors, acrylics, drawing, mixed media, and some arts and craft projects to mix it up a bit. Each day will be something different and new. What better way to spend your break then creating beautiful pieces of artwork. Campers will create a variety of edible slimes, make astronaut pudding, enjoy science experiments with candy, and learn how to freeze dry sweets. Each camper will enjoy tasty treats and receive a guide to achieve some of these awesome experiments at home. Instructor: Sara June Location: Log Cabin Code Day Date Time R/NR Fee 207113-01 Tu-Th 07/08 - 07/10 10:00 am - 12:00 pm $88/$106 SUPER SCIENTIST CAMP (Ages 8-11) Calling all young scientists! Check out this great camp full of fun, science, and friends. Scientists will make chemical reactions, learn biology basics, explore outer space, and develop our own science experiments. Each scientist will receive a lab book at the end of camp to keep experimenting at home. This camp will dig deeper to learn how slime is made and explore the many different types of slimes that exist. Campers will create our own slime concoctions, as well as a variety of edible slime options. Each slime camper will receive a slime recipe and a slime sample to take home each day.
